Food Freedom 🍕🕊 It took experiencing it to truly know what it means and what it feels like…and it’s glorious. I never feel like I need to be “careful” or think too deeply about the consequences of a single meal. I just listen to what my body wants. Sometimes it’s a rice bowl with veggies and chicken, and sometimes it’s pizza 😊 Of course I eat for my health but I also eat for taste satisfaction, and pizza tastes pretty damn good. I want to answer a question I get all the time and set the record straight. People always ask if “I am happy or feel more confident because I’ve lost some of my overshoot weight?” I’ve answered this on YT but I just want to address it again. Short answer: Absolutely not.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Long answer: I had no clue whatsoever what weight I would end up. I had a rough idea of what my natural set weight was but it changes throughout your life, so there was no way to predict exactly what would happen after I went All In. Despite that, I’ve been significantly happier and more confident for a long time (well before I lost any of the overshoot weight I initially gained). I haven’t done anything intentionally to induce weight loss and to the contrary, I’ve been actively trying to increase my appetite out of fear of decreasing my metabolism due to my lack of appetite.

I did what I had to do two years ago because I desperately wanted to fix my extreme hunger. I WAS DESPERATE. I would’ve done ANYTHING. I was so miserable, in a state of being perpetually hangry and the reason I am so happy is because I fixed it! 😭 I no longer feel insatiable hunger, I no longer feel weak, tired or moody. I haven’t felt that in over a year and it is the most glorious feeling in the world. If you’ve ever experienced extreme hunger, you will understand where I’m coming from. I feel free, that is why I am happy. Period.🕊

Looking back, I must say I’m damn proud of myself. I never gave up, I stuck with it even when everyone told me I was wrong, and I just listened to what my body needed. I shared all of my vulnerable, unflattering and embarrassing moments with no regrets and I’ll continue to share anything and everything that is yet to come. I love you guys with all of my heart.

New video on Intuitive Eating is live on my channel! 🎥👀 If you watched it, any feedback is always greatly appreciated 🤍 In the video I go through my own personal journey as I naturally transition from being All In to practicing intuitive eating. I also include Intuitive Eating tips from @alissarumseyrd and @dietitiandeanna 🍽

A few tips I found super helpful:
1️⃣ Do the opposite of what your diet brain tells you to do. For ex: Out to brunch and you genuinely want a sandwich but your diet brain says get a salad...Get the sandwich! 🥪
2️⃣ Find body neutrality. As body positive as I would like to be, it’s not always easy. Being body neutral can be just as powerful and less body focused.
3️⃣ Avoid skipping meals 🙅🏻‍♀️ For me, I struggled with having a low appetite in the morning and it was tempting to skip breakfast, but it would always set me up for an irregular eating schedule. So I found making sure I have a meal in the morning and then evenly spaced throughout the day, really set me up for having a more balanced and satisfying eating regimen that eventually led to a higher appetite in the morning 👍

I feel like I don’t talk enough about the benefits of my All In journey relative to how profound it was to my life (which was immeasurable). I can say with all of my heart that it was the best decision I ever made because quite honestly, everything is just better now 🙏 And I know some of you may argue I speak TOO much about it, but this is my page and I can do what I want 🙃

If there is anywhere in the world we could be doing work and eating delicious food, Mexico is not a bad place to be 🇲🇽🍹🤍 Jeff and I will be here until May 17th because of some visa complications but I assure you, we are not complaining. Sadly I haven’t been out much to enjoy the weather (other than this day) but I have been taking full advantage of the food 🤤 Some people enjoy sunshine and others enjoy tacos...I fall into the latter 🌮😋
